You’re going to love the knitted candy stitch, that’s for sure! It’s a braided stitch great for either the detail on a chunky sweater or an oversized scarf and then, why not, even a cozy hot water bottle cover. Our extra fine merino Piuma yarn has been chosen for this candy stitch. Tutorial: how to knit the candy stitch

MATERIALS
Piuma yarn col. Natural white 100 g / 3.5 oz
Knitting needle n° 8 EU / 11 US

DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Easy

METHOD
It’s done on a multiple of 12 + 3 stitches.

Row 1 – 3 – 5 – 7: *3 purl, knit 9*, always repeat from to * to, purl 3 to finish
row 2 and all the even rows: work the stitches as they appear
row 9: *3 purl, 9 right twist stitch with central rib stitch (place 3 stitches on hold at the back, 3 stitches on hold at the front, knit 3, knit the held stitches at the front, knit the stitches on hold at the back)*
row 11 – 13 – 15: work the stitches as they appear
row 17: repeat from the row 1.

Work the stitches, in the even rows that aren’t indicated on the pattern, as they appear: knit on knit and purl on purl. Repeat from * to * for all the row and finish off with the stitches that come after the 2^nd asterisks.
