Creating a light shawl for Spring with 3D effects and rich in texture.

Over the course of two intense days full of inspiration, Cristina will guide her students through the discovery of fine felt with 3D effects. The Shibori technique, Origami felting and plissé technique will be only a few of the themes touched upon during the creation of a very special shawl or vest, rich in texture and structure yet extremely light. Cristina will suggest design ideas and practical techniques for how to create a fine nuno felt best suited for clothing, offering simple yet effective methods that illustrate the process step by step. Intended for those with a basic knowledge of felt and those who participate in Thursday’s workshop.
