THEME OF THE CLASS
Inspired by Origami Artists like Paul Jackson, Eric Gjerde and others, Andrea Noeske-Porada will guide the participants through the process of creating intricate felted three dimensional constructions and foldings for jewelry and small felt objects. She will bring some pattern which she developed especially for making faceted felted jewelry, inspired by the Origami artists.
The workshop starts off with folding a paper model to get known to the foldings. The felt construction will start from a flat surface. In the process the focus will be on building up sharp and clear edges and points. Overall the students will get an idea of how to handle similar tasks.
