STITCHES USED
Inlay Stitch: 
knit 1 row and then purl 1 row following the diagram, making sure to bind off the threads each time you change colour.
Rib stitch 1/1:
knit 1 and purl 1, in the following row knit 1 on the knitted stitch and purl 1 on the purled stitch.

How to knit the back of the geometric sweater

Cast on 78 stitches with US size 5.5 / 9 needles and work 13 rows of 1×1 rib stitch.

Continue with No. 6 EU / 10 US needles and follow the diagram.

At row n° 33 place the stitch marker, this marks the point where the sleeve will be attached.

How to knit the front of the geometric sweater

Work the rib stitch as you did the back and then follow the diagram.

At row 33 you have to place another stitch marker.

How to knit the neck of the geometric sweater

Sew the shoulders.

With circular needle n° 5.5 EU / 9 US recommence stitching as follows: 20 stitches on the front, 24 stitches on the back and 6 stitches on each side on the front for a total of 56 stitches then work 1×1 rib stich for 7 rounds.

Lastly bind off the work.
