THEME OF THE CLASS
The workshop will focus on the development and exploration of techniques to created textile surfaces ideal for created coats/jackets. Charity will teach you how to create structures and surfaces by using multiple techniques and materials and will guide you through the creation of a finished piece. During this process you will also learn to create pleats, ruffles and shapes that will make your works absolutely sumptuous. Last but not least you will learn to create them in different sizes using a very simple yet easy method that guarantee a great fit.
You will be free to work with any type of fiber (wool, silk, linen, bamboo…) so you can create a garment in your own personal style.

Date: Friday November 25th, Saturday November 26th, and Sunday November 27th (duration: 3 days).
Time: from 9.30 to 16.30 approximately, including lunch and coffee breaks.
Location: DHG, Via Mauro Marcello Panconi 15/17 – 59100 Prato
Max Number of Participants: 12 (minimum 5).

Difficulty: ideal for those with basic knowledge of the technique. Knowledge of sewing is not required.
Price per person: 360 Euro including 3 light lunches.
The course must be payed for in advance. Registration will not be considered complete until full payment is received.
If you are unable to attend, you will be reimbursed as follows:
– Within 1 month – 50%
– After this point, no reimbursement will be given unless DHG is able to sell the open space.
The materials required for the course are not included in the price of the course and will be sent to you via email once registration is complete.
The cost of food, lodging and transportation are at the complete expense of the client unless expressly declared as INCLUDED in the cost of the course when purchasing on our website DHGshop.
